Pishin: Unknown gunmen shot dead a Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) officer in Pishin on Wednesday.
The attack took place at Bacha Khan Chowk. Two men on a motorcycle opened fire on Sub-Inspector Inayatullah. He received multiple bullets and died on the spot.
Witnesses said the attackers fired several rounds before fleeing the scene. Panic spread in the busy market area as people rushed for safety.
Police reached the site within minutes. They sealed the area and began collecting evidence. A team also launched a search operation in nearby streets. No arrest was reported till late evening.
