Bostan Levies Force carried out a successful operation and recovered stolen goods from a warehouse in Kuchlak.
On August 20, armed men hijacked a truck loaded with flour and food items near Bostan. Levies sources confirmed the criminals offloaded the goods before abandoning the empty vehicle near Quetta’s Baleli Customs area. The hijackers managed to escape after the theft.
Following the incident, the Levies registered a case and began an investigation. Acting on a tip-off from an informant, the Station House Officer of Bostan Levies, Bashir Agha, led a raid at a warehouse in Kuchlak.
During the raid, Levies recovered 460 parcels of flour and other food items. Authorities stated that the recovered goods matched the stolen cargo. The operation marked a breakthrough in the case, restoring confidence in the local security force.
SHO Bashir Agha confirmed that further raids are planned. He assured that more stolen property will be recovered soon. He also emphasized that arrests of those involved are expected in the coming days.
Local residents appreciated the swift action of the Levies. The recovery helped prevent the stolen food supplies from being sold in illegal markets. Security officials highlighted that the operation showed the commitment of Levies to curb theft and smuggling in the region.
