Balochistan Irrigation Minister Sadiq Umarani has warned that floodwaters from the Indus River are expected to enter Balochistan on September 2.
He said that Jaffarabad, Rojhan, Usta Muhammad, and Sohbatpur districts are at high risk of being submerged.
According to the minister, the Balochistan government is in constant contact with the Sindh government and is closely monitoring the situation.
He further added that a camp office has been set up in Nasirabad to oversee preparations and response to the potential flood threat.
