Quetta: The Irrigation Department in Balochistan has also become active ahead of the possible flood situation. Chief Engineer Canals, Nasir Majeed, visited Pat Feeder Canal from RD 418 to RD 505. He inspected the established flood emergency control rooms and stockpiles of flood-fighting material, ordering further additions.
At RD 418, Superintending Engineer Irrigation Circle Naseerabad, Ghulam Sarwar Bangulzai, briefed him on protective measures, water supply for agricultural purposes, and other related issues.
Executive Engineer Pat Feeder Canal Fareed Ahmed Pindrani, Executive Engineer Kirthar Canal Ghulam Mustafa Chandio, Sub-Divisional Officers Amanullah Gajani and Saifullah Bangulzai, Sub-Engineers Waseem Ahmed Behrani, Rehmatullah Bangulzai, Abdul Nabi, along with Sohrab Khan and Shoaib Ali, were also present.
