Quetta – The Balochistan Police announced major reshuffles at the senior level with immediate effect. DIG Rakhshan Division, Wazir Khan Nasir, has been appointed as DIG Motorway Police. Meanwhile, DIG Motorway Police, Abdul Hai Baloch, has been posted as DIG Rakhshan Division.
According to the police spokesperson, the new postings take effect immediately. Both officers have been directed to assume charge at their new offices without delay. The reshuffle aims to make the police system more effective and improve public service across the province.
Police officials stated that these transfers were made to meet administrative needs and strengthen the policing structure. Wazir Khan Nasir, a seasoned officer, will now utilize his experience to enhance highway security and improve traffic management under the Motorway Police.
On the other hand, Abdul Hai Baloch will take charge of Rakhshan Division, one of the most critical and sensitive regions in Balochistan. His role will focus on maintaining security and strengthening law enforcement in the division.
Authorities emphasized that these appointments are part of the ongoing police reforms in Balochistan. The reshuffle is expected to boost operational efficiency and help stabilize the law-and-order situation.
