Quetta: President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Balochistan, Dawood Shah Kakar, strongly criticized the provincial government for suspending internet services, calling it a violation of public rights. He said the internet blackout was imposed under the pretext of law and order, but it has created immense difficulties for ordinary citizens.
“The government born out of Form-47 cannot even protect itself, so how can it ensure the safety of people’s lives and property?” Kakar questioned. He demanded the immediate restoration of internet services in Balochistan.
He also alleged that a wave of political victimization against PTI continues nationwide. Despite this, he said, the party’s information secretaries and social media teams are effectively spreading the vision of party chairman Imran Khan.
Highlighting the role of PTI’s digital teams, Kakar added that in today’s era, social media has become crucial for raising public issues. He praised PTI social media workers for exposing Indian propaganda on international platforms during what he termed the “Battle of Truth.”
Meanwhile, Provincial General Secretary Jahangir Rind said that during a leadership meeting in Quetta, district-level information secretaries presented their quarterly reports, which were reviewed with satisfaction by the provincial leadership.
District Quetta President, Sardar Zain-ul-Abideen Khilji, also spoke on the occasion, stating that PTI remains the largest political party in Pakistan, despite state pressure. He emphasized that no amount of government tactics or victimization can force PTI to surrender.
