The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has issued a NOTAM announcing temporary suspension of flight operations at Islamabad International Airport on specific dates in August due to Independence Day rehearsals.
According to the notification, flight arrivals and departures will be halted from August 6 to 9 and August 11 to 14 between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. each day.
Additionally, from August 11 to 13, flight operations will also remain suspended between 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. (Pakistan Standard Time).
Airlines have been instructed not to schedule flights during these restricted hours. The measure is aimed at facilitating smooth conduct of Independence Day parade rehearsals in the capital.
