Islamabad: Pakistan’s Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu, has reaffirmed Pakistan’s appreciation for its strong diplomatic and defense ties with Bahrain.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Bahrain’s Chief of Staff of the Defence Force, Lieutenant General Theyab Saqr Abdullah Al-Nuaimi, visited Air Headquarters in Islamabad, where he was warmly received by the Pakistan Air Force. A smartly turned-out PAF contingent presented him with a guard of honor upon arrival.
During the meeting, both senior military officials discussed matters of mutual interest and expressed their commitment to exploring new avenues of defense cooperation. They emphasized strengthening bilateral military relations through enhanced training opportunities, joint exercises, and capacity-building initiatives.
The Air Chief highlighted that Pakistan greatly values its long-standing partnership with Bahrain and is determined to further broaden the scope of collaboration in defense and security. Both sides agreed that mutual cooperation would significantly contribute to regional stability and the professional development of their armed forces.
