Quetta: Balochistan High Court on Thursday ordered the provincial government to immediately withdraw its notification imposing a ban on public transport and to restore mobile internet services in areas without security threats.
A two-member bench, comprising Chief Justice Rozi Khan Barrech and Justice Sardar Ahmed Haleemi, issued the directives while hearing petitions challenging the suspension of public transport and internet services.
The court also instructed the government to reconsider its notification extending the province-wide mobile internet shutdown until August 31.
The hearing was adjourned until August 21.
