QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and property caused by heavy rains and flooding in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In a statement, the Chief Minister said that natural disasters are beyond human control, adding that such tragic events are painful and a test of patience for the nation. He said the calamity has left the affected families and the entire country in mourning.
Bugti assured the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa that the people of Balochistan stand in complete solidarity with them during this difficult time. He stressed that the suffering of every flood victim is a shared pain for the nation.
The Chief Minister also prayed for the elevation of ranks of those who lost their lives, a speedy recovery of the injured, and paid tribute to those martyred in the helicopter crash in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
