QUETTA: Despite repeated assurances, mobile internet data services across Balochistan, including Quetta, remain suspended, causing severe difficulties for residents.
The Deputy Commissioner of Quetta had promised the restoration of internet services by August 15, following a directive from the Balochistan High Court. However, the deadline passed without any improvement.
Citizens say the prolonged shutdown is disrupting students’ education, online businesses, and other essential activities. Public representatives have urged the provincial government and district administration to immediately restore internet services to relieve the hardships faced by the population.
