Bollywood actor Aamir Khan’s brother, Faisal Khan, has accused Aamir and their family of hypocrisy, deceit, and mistreatment. Speaking at a press conference in Mumbai, Faisal described his family as “hypocritical and dishonest,” claiming they misled the public about his mental health.
Faisal alleged that his family spread false statements about his condition and tried to force him into psychiatric evaluation. He further accused Aamir Khan of having an extramarital relationship with British journalist Jessica Hynes during his first marriage to Reena Dutta. Faisal claimed that Aamir fathered a child from that alleged relationship.
The actor went on to say that his family used mental illness as an excuse to medicate him with drugs against his will. He claimed he was kept under house arrest for a year and prevented from speaking publicly. Faisal added that his sister tried to stop him from holding the press conference, but he remained determined to share his side of the story.
In a dramatic move, Faisal announced that he was cutting all ties with his family. He declared that he would renounce any claim to his parents’ property and would not seek financial support from Aamir Khan. “I will not live in Aamir’s house, nor will I accept any help from him,” Faisal stated.
This is not the first time Faisal Khan has made such allegations. Just last week, he raised similar accusations in an interview and a social media post.
In response, Aamir Khan and his family issued a joint statement. They dismissed Faisal’s claims as “painful and misleading.” The family said all decisions regarding Faisal were taken on medical advice and urged the media not to sensationalize a private and distressing matter.
