Multiple districts of Balochistan witnessed coordinated militant attacks targeting security forces, government offices, and residential areas, leaving a total of 8 Frontier Corps (FC) personnel and 2 women injured. Fortunately, no fatalities were reported in most of the incidents.
According to police, an explosion occurred on Link Badini Road in Quetta shortly after a police vehicle passed. The blast damaged a vehicle, but no casualties were reported. Police cordoned off the area and collected evidence from the scene.
Levies sources reported that in Kalat’s Manguchar area, unidentified attackers fired two rockets that landed and exploded near an FC camp. The blasts shook the entire area, but no loss of life or property was reported.
Security officials confirmed that in Khuzdar’s Zehri area, an attack on an FC check post left 6 personnel injured, while retaliatory fire from the forces was ongoing. In Kech’s Absar area, a hand grenade attack on a house injured two women.
In Basima, militants attacked the headquarters of security forces and targeted police vehicles. Several people were reported injured. In Mastung, a hand grenade attack on the Deputy Commissioner’s office caused no casualties.
In Buleda, security forces foiled an attempted attack on their camp, injuring one militant in retaliatory fire.
