The Serious Crime Investigation Wing (SCIW) has successfully traced and solved a brutal murder and robbery case in Hazar Town, Quetta, in which a woman was mercilessly killed and her jewelry and mobile phones were stolen. The case was registered under FIR No. 282/25, Section 302/34 PPC at Brewery Police Station.
Under the leadership of SSP Malik Asghar Usman, the SCIW team conducted a thorough investigation, which included geo-fencing of the crime scene. The efforts led to the arrest of five suspects: Ramzan, Ataullah, Abbas Ali, Ali Asghar alias Ehsanullah, and his wife Roqia.
During interrogation, Ali Asghar confessed to the crime, admitting that he attacked the victim with the butt of a pistol before taking away her jewelry. Acting on his confession, the SCIW team managed to recover jewelry worth approximately Rs7 million, a 9mm pistol used in the crime, and two mobile phones belonging to the victim.
SSP Malik Asghar Usman stated that the investigation is still ongoing, and further details will be revealed as the case progresses.
