The Balochistan High Court has upheld the election of Senator Aimal Wali Khan, declaring it valid and in accordance with the law.
A two-member bench comprising Justice Kamran Malakhail and Justice Gul Hassan Tareen heard the case. The petition challenging Senator Aimal Wali Khan’s election was filed by citizen Muhammad Ali Kunrani, who questioned the legality of the electoral process.
After reviewing the arguments, the court ruled that all constitutional and legal requirements for the Senate election had been duly fulfilled.
Announcing a short order, the bench dismissed the petition, stating that a detailed judgment would be issued later.Advocate Sangeen Khan represented Senator Aimal Wali Khan in the case.
