Train Services Suspended in Balochistan Due to Security Concerns

Train services from Balochistan to other parts of the province and across the country have once again been suspended. Railway officials said the suspension has been imposed for one day due to security concerns.

According to the officials, the Jaffar Express from Quetta to Peshawar will not depart today, while the Bolan Mail from Quetta to Karachi has also been cancelled. In addition, the Chaman Passenger train operating to the border city of Chaman will not run today.

Railway authorities stated that the decision was taken to ensure the safety of passengers and railway infrastructure. They added that the situation is being closely monitored and train services from Balochistan are expected to resume as per schedule from tomorrow.

Passengers have been advised to contact their respective railway stations or helplines before planning their travel to avoid inconvenience.
