Quetta: Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, has said that Operation Radd-ul-Fitna delivers a clear, firm, and unambiguous message to elements involved in bloodshed and chaos in the province.
In a statement shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the chief minister stated that the operation reflects the state’s unwavering resolve to protect citizens and maintain peace in Balochistan. He said that no group would be allowed to challenge Pakistan’s unity, stability, and development.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti strongly criticized the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), describing it as a “fitna” that deliberately targets innocent civilians and laborers. He said the group has repeatedly attacked unarmed people, including workers contributing to national development, which exposes its true intentions.
The chief minister further alleged that the BLA is acting on the directives of India and is actively attempting to obstruct Pakistan’s progress, particularly in Balochistan. He emphasized that such hostile designs would not succeed under any circumstances.
“Pakistan will not compromise on its unity, development, or the safety of its people,” Bugti said, adding that every attempt to spread unrest and disorder would be met with an effective and decisive response.
He stated that the state remains strong and resilient, while the nation stands united against forces seeking to destabilize the country. “Any hand raised against Pakistan will be dealt with strictly in accordance with the law and with full state authority,” he warned.
The chief minister reiterated that security forces and law enforcement agencies are fully capable of countering terrorist threats and ensuring long-term peace in the province. He expressed confidence that ongoing operations would further weaken militant networks and restore stability across Balochistan.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti concluded by saying that the government is committed to safeguarding the lives of citizens and ensuring that Balochistan continues on the path of development, prosperity, and peace.
