ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Senator Azam Swati has ruled out the possibility of a PTI protest on August 14.
In a statement, Swati questioned, “Who said there will be a protest on August 14? If anyone has claimed so, it is absolutely wrong.”
He emphasized that August 14 is a day of victory for Quaid-e-Azam, and there will be no protests on this day. “We will celebrate Independence Day with full zeal and enthusiasm,” he added.
Meanwhile, PTI leader Asad Qaiser stated that on Independence Day, the party will celebrate the “true freedom movement” and continue the struggle for Quaid-e-Azam’s vision of Pakistan.
