The body of a tribal leader was recovered from the Gwandan area of Askalko, police sources confirmed.
According to police, Mir Khizar Hayat, son of Muhammad Hayat, belonging to the Shahwani tribe and a resident of Askalko, was abducted from his home by armed assailants a few days ago.
Following necessary procedures, the police handed over the body to the deceased’s family. Investigations are ongoing to identify the perpetrators and their motive, police added.
