The Serious Crime Investigation Wing has arrested the absconding brother-in-law of the slain woman in Degari. Police sources confirmed the arrest on Monday.
So far, four suspects, including a tribal chief, have been taken into custody. Police said raids are underway to capture the main accused.
On July 20, a video surfaced on social media showing the killing of a man, Ihsanullah, and a woman, Bano Bibi, in the name of honor. The incident sparked outrage across Balochistan.
Following the video leak, Balochistan Chief Minister took notice and ordered immediate arrests of all involved in the brutal killings.
