Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti has strongly condemned the blast near Shahwani Stadium on Sariab Road, calling it a cowardly act against humanity.
“The perpetrators are playing with the lives of innocent citizens. The malicious intentions of terrorists will be foiled at all costs,” the Chief Minister said.
Mir Sarfaraz Bugti directed that the injured be provided with the best possible medical facilities. Hospital administration and medical staff have been instructed to remain on alert to ensure no negligence in treating the wounded.
The Balochistan government has ordered a high-level investigation into the incident, and a committee has been formed to submit its report promptly. “Those involved in this heinous act will be brought to justice, and security agencies have been directed to immediately apprehend the responsible individuals,” he added.
The Chief Minister emphasized that protecting the lives and property of citizens is the government’s foremost responsibility. He further stated that disruptive elements will not succeed in their attempts to undermine peace, and both federal and provincial governments will work together to ensure public safety.
