India’s Hardik Pandya has been dethroned from the top of the ICC T20 all-rounder rankings as Pakistan’s rising star Saim Ayub surged to No. 1, marking a major milestone in his international career.
The latest ICC rankings show Saim Ayub claiming the coveted first position, pushing Pandya down to second while Afghanistan’s Mohammad Nab dropped to third.
In the batting charts, India’s Abhishek Sharma maintained his hold on the No. 1 spot, while Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan made headlines by jumping 11 places to reach 13th.
However, Pakistan’s top trio Babar Azam (37th), Mohammad Rizwan (41st), and Saim Ayub (57th) all slipped down the order. Fakhar Zaman showed improvement, climbing six places to 60th.
The bowling rankings kept India’s Varun Chakravarthy in first place. Pakistan’s Abrar Ahmed slipped three spots to seventh, while Shaheen Afridi made an impressive 12-place rise to joint 13th. Haris Rauf dropped to 33rd after a five-place fall.
Saim Ayub’s ascent not only signals Pakistan’s growing strength in the shortest format but also reflects the intense competition among the world’s leading all-rounders.
