CCTV Footage Reveals Full Sequence of Attack on FC Headquarters in Peshawar

Investigators have completed the full compilation of CCTV footage related to the attack on the Frontier Corps (FC) Headquarters in Peshawar. The footage, collected from several different cameras around the area, provides a detailed account of the movements of the attackers before and during the assault.

According to the footage, all three attackers arrived together on a single motorcycle. They were seen riding in the opposite direction of traffic as they approached the FC Headquarters. Moments before the attack, the motorcycle stopped near a roadside shop where the attackers parked the vehicle.

The first suicide bomber can be seen waiting outside the headquarters for a considerable amount of time. The video shows the attacker wearing a cap and repeatedly attempting to conceal his face with a shawl. At one point, the attacker is seen walking a short distance on foot, blending into the surrounding pedestrian activity. Students and several vehicles can be seen passing close by, unaware of the impending attack.

The footage captures the moment the first bomber moved toward the main gate and detonated his explosives. As smoke rose from the blast, the two remaining attackers used the chaos to move inside the compound.

Once inside, their advance was blocked by an armored vehicle positioned near the entrance. Unable to proceed further due to the vehicle, the attackers redirected themselves toward the parking area of the compound.

The CCTV footage shows the attackers attempting multiple times to move out of the parking zone, but they were forced back due to security response and the armored vehicle’s positioning. The final explosion inside the parking area is also clearly recorded on the cameras.

Investigators say the detailed compilation of the footage will aid in understanding the attackers’ strategy, movement pattern, and potential loopholes in perimeter security. The evidence is expected to help security agencies refine future preventive measures and track down facilitators involved in planning the assault.

The investigation remains ongoing, with authorities reviewing additional evidence and conducting intelligence follow-ups.
