Quetta: Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has said that there has been a significant increase in the interest of foreign investors in Balochistan, reflecting growing confidence in the province’s economic potential and improving investment environment.
Speaking on the matter, the chief minister stated that the provincial government is fully committed to promoting investment and creating opportunities that contribute to sustainable economic growth and job creation.
He revealed that Saudi investors have shown keen interest in investing in multiple key sectors, including energy, minerals, agriculture, and infrastructure. According to the chief minister, these sectors hold immense potential and can play a crucial role in the economic development of both Balochistan and the country.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti emphasized that the Balochistan government will provide all possible facilities and a business-friendly environment to foreign investors. He said special measures are being taken to ensure ease of doing business, investor protection, and long-term policy consistency.
The chief minister added that attracting foreign investment is a top priority of the provincial government, as it will help unlock Balochistan’s vast natural resources, strengthen infrastructure, and generate employment opportunities for local communities.
He expressed optimism that increased foreign investment, particularly from friendly countries like Saudi Arabia, would contribute to regional development and economic stability, positioning Balochistan as an emerging destination for international investors.
