MWM stages protest rally in Quetta against killings in Iran

Quetta: A protest rally was organized in Quetta on Sunday under the banner of Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) against the alleged killings of Ali Khamenei and other individuals in Iran.

According to organizers, the rally began from Alamdar Road Punjabi Imambargah, where a large number of participants gathered to express their condemnation and grief. Protesters raised slogans and carried banners, denouncing what they termed acts of aggression and injustice.

The rally witnessed active participation of men, women, and children, reflecting broad involvement from the community. Demonstrators called for unity within the Muslim Ummah and urged the international community to take notice of the situation in Iran.

MWM leaders, while addressing the participants, said the protest was meant to record strong opposition to violence and to show solidarity with the families of those who were martyred. They stressed that such rallies would continue until justice is ensured.

The demonstration remained peaceful, and traffic movement on surrounding roads was partially affected for a short period due to the gathering.
