Quetta: The Balochistan government has announced cash rewards of up to Rs1.5 million for credible information leading to the arrest of highly wanted female militants in the province.
The provincial government has released photographs and details of the wanted women and appealed to citizens to provide information about them and their facilitators to law enforcement agencies.
According to the Balochistan government, the wanted women are associated with different areas of Gwadar, Panjgur and Turbat.
The government said individuals who provide credible information that helps authorities arrest the wanted female militants will be eligible for cash rewards ranging from Rs1 million to Rs1.5 million.
Citizens have been urged to share any information about the wanted women or their facilitators with the relevant law enforcement agencies. The government assured informants that their identities would be kept strictly confidential.
People with information about the wanted militants can contact the Balochistan Command Centre at 1244.
The government said the cash rewards will be paid in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations.
The announcement is part of the provincial government’s efforts to improve public cooperation with law enforcement agencies and assist authorities in apprehending individuals wanted in connection with militant activities.
