Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has dismissed the recent statement by the Indian Air Force chief as “delayed, unbelievable, and a ridiculous claim.”
The Indian Air Chief had alleged that during the May standoff, India shot down six Pakistani aircraft.
Khawaja Asif said the claim was not only unrealistic but also suspicious in its timing. He added that it was ironic that India’s military leadership was being used to defend the strategic failures of political leaders who had led the country to a major setback.
