The incident took place in the Sordo area of Panjgur late Monday night. Unknown attackers opened fire on residents, causing multiple casualties and injuries.
Police officials confirmed that the deceased include Ghulam Sarwar, son of Muhammad Noor, and his two sons Islam and Nizam, originally from Gichak but living in Sordo. Another victim, Habibullah, son of Shah Muhammad, belonged to Grisha, Khuzdar. Police also identified a fourth victim, Ali Ahmed, son of unknown, resident of Quetta.
In addition to the four dead, one person sustained injuries in the attack. Security forces shifted the injured to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment. Authorities said doctors are working to stabilize his condition.
After the shooting, police and Levies forces reached the site. They cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to trace the attackers. Initial reports suggest the gunmen managed to escape under the cover of darkness. No group has claimed responsibility so far.
