QUETTA: Balochistan government spokesperson Shahid Rind said security forces are operating in grey areas where it is difficult to distinguish between friend and foe.
He made the remarks after a recent key arrest in Quetta that expanded the scope of investigations. He confirmed authorities received a lead about target killers, and security operations for peace in the province are ongoing.
According to Rind, forces conducted multiple raids and detained several suspects. During one raid, Advocate Zamir was also taken into custody with the suspects.
The spokesperson clarified that Zamir Advocate was released after initial investigations. He stressed that operating in grey areas makes it challenging to identify allies and adversaries.
Rind emphasized the need for collective efforts to restore peace in Balochistan. He appealed for public cooperation, saying no innocent person would face injustice. “Questioning is a legal process,” he added.
