Turkey’s First Lady Emine Erdogan shared an emotional message for Pakistan’s flood victims on social media.
On X (formerly Twitter), she expressed her sympathy for those affected by the floods and recalled her visit to Pakistan during the 2010 floods, witnessing the suffering firsthand.
She said Turkey was among the first countries to extend help in 2010 and added that today, the prayers, hearts, and aid of the Turkish people remain with Pakistan.
Emine Erdogan stated that the Turkish Red Crescent is closely monitoring the situation in affected areas and providing immediate support in health, shelter, food, and water.
She prayed for those who lost their lives during the floods and for the speedy recovery of the injured. She also called on the international community to support Pakistan during these difficult times, helping to heal the wounds of the victims through solidarity and compassion.
