Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has left for a four-day official visit to China, where he will stay until September 4.
During the trip, he will represent Pakistan at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit.
The prime minister will also hold separate meetings in Beijing with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang. The talks will focus on bilateral relations, the second phase of CPEC, and key regional and global issues.
Shehbaz Sharif will also attend a military parade in Beijing, marking the 80th anniversary of the World Anti-Fascist War. Several other world leaders will also be present.
According to media reports, the prime minister is scheduled to meet prominent Chinese businessmen and corporate executives. The discussions will center on trade, investment, and economic cooperation.
