Beijing: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the blast at the Balochistan National Party rally in Quetta on September 3, 2025.
Expressing grief over the loss of lives, the Prime Minister said, “I am deeply saddened by the loss of precious lives in this attack and pray for the speedy recovery of the injured.”
He directed that the injured be provided with the best possible medical facilities, emphasizing the urgency of immediate care.
The Prime Minister also instructed authorities, “Identify the individuals involved in this attack swiftly and ensure they are brought to justice without delay.”
Commenting on the nature of the attack, he said, “An attack on a political gathering is a blatant attempt by terrorists to spread chaos in Balochistan. Terrorists are enemies of peace and development in the province. We will continue the fight against the menace of terrorism until it is completely eradicated. Attacks on innocent and unarmed citizens are cowardly and reprehensible.”
