Quetta: A case has been registered following the suicide attack in front of Shahwani Stadium on Sariab Road, Quetta, according to the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD).
The CTD spokesperson confirmed that the case was filed against unknown individuals under charges of murder, attempted murder, and anti-terrorism laws.
Authorities have recovered the remains of the suicide bomber, which will be sent for forensic examination.
The Health Minister of Balochistan confirmed the casualty figures from the attack: “Fifteen people were killed and 38 others injured in the Sariab Road blast.”
The investigation is ongoing as security agencies work to identify and apprehend the perpetrators.
