The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has registered a case against unidentified terrorists in connection with the suicide bombing in Quetta’s Model Town.
According to police, the FIR has been filed under the Anti-Terrorism Act, along with charges of murder, attempted murder, and other relevant sections of the law.
The suicide attack, which occurred on Monday near the FC Headquarters, left 11 people dead and 35 others injured. Security forces responding to the assault had killed five terrorists, recovering hand grenades, weapons, and explosive material from their possession.
Authorities said investigations are underway to trace the network behind the attack and bring those responsible to justice.
