Security forces in Balochistan have killed 12 militants associated with the India-backed proxy outfit Fitna-e-Hindustan during an intelligence-based operation conducted in Kalat district, according to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The operation, carried out on December 6, targeted a terrorist hideout identified through actionable intelligence. Security forces engaged the militants in a heavy exchange of fire, successfully eliminating all high-value targets involved in multiple terror activities in the region.A significant cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosive material was recovered from the site.
The area is undergoing a thorough clearance and sanitization process to ensure the complete removal of terrorist influence.The ISPR added that security and law enforcement agencies continue counterterrorism operations at full pace under the federal apex committee–approved vision “Azm-e-Istehkam,” aimed at eradicating terrorism supported and facilitated from abroad.
President Zardari Commends Security Forces President Asif Ali Zardari lauded the security forces for their timely and effective action against the India-backed proxy group in Kalat, resulting in the elimination of 12 militants.
He reiterated that the State of Pakistan is fully capable of bringing the enemies of peace to justice and emphasized that the latest success reflects the country’s firm commitment to ensuring stability and security.
Referring to the ongoing clearance and sanitization efforts in Kalat, the President expressed satisfaction and stressed their importance in completely restoring peace to the affected area.President Zardari further stated that the unwavering resolve of the nation will foil every conspiracy orchestrated by Fitna-e-Hindustan.
He added that the people of Pakistan and the security forces stand united to defeat all hostile designs, assuring that any threat to national security or sovereignty will be met with a strong and decisive response.
