Balochistan Bar Council supports national conference on protection of Pakistan’s constitution

Quetta: The Balochistan Bar Council has announced its support for the National Conference on the Protection of Pakistan’s Constitution, scheduled for December 20-21. The conference is being organized by the Tehreek-e-Aman Tahafuz Pakistan (Movement for Protection of Pakistan), with a focus on safeguarding constitutional rights.

The announcement was made by Chairman Executive Committee Balochistan Bar Council Advocate Rahib Khan Buledi. The council expressed its full solidarity with the initiative, emphasizing the importance of upholding constitutional principles.

The press release highlighted that the conference comes at a time of political and social challenges in the country. It will bring together legal experts, civil society representatives, and political leaders to discuss the protection of constitutional norms and democratic rights.

The council criticized attempts to delay or manipulate decision-making processes at both provincial and national levels, stressing that constitutional compliance and rule of law should be upheld. It reaffirmed its commitment to supporting efforts for justice, human rights, and democratic freedoms in Balochistan and across Pakistan.

Advocate Rahib Buledi stated that the Bar Council would stand alongside the organizers to ensure that the conference proceeds successfully, and called on all stakeholders, including lawyers, civil society members, and political actors, to participate actively in defending constitutional safeguards.
