A violent clash between two tribes in the Sagi area of Tehsil Gulistan, district Killa Abdullah, left at least three people dead and five others injured, according to police sources. The confrontation reportedly began over a dispute concerning the control of local tube wells.
Police sources said both groups used heavy weapons freely during the fighting, creating panic in the surrounding areas. Law enforcement teams rushed to the site to prevent the situation from escalating further.
Officials confirmed that five people were injured in the armed clash, all of whom were shifted to nearby hospitals for medical treatment. The bodies of the deceased have also been moved for legal formalities.
Deputy Commissioner Killa Abdullah later stated that a temporary ceasefire has been enforced between the two sides to restore order and prevent further violence. Negotiations are expected to continue to ensure a lasting settlement of the dispute.
