Indian Students Allegedly Involved in Over $10 Million Thefts in Australia

SYDNEY: Australian media reports have revealed that a group of Indian students were allegedly involved in large-scale thefts across Australia.

According to the reports, over a period of five months, Indian students reportedly stole goods worth more than $10 million AUD.

Police have arrested a 19-member organized group, comprising Indian students and other residents on temporary visas, in connection with the incidents.

The accused are alleged to have stolen items from major stores, including baby formula, vitamins, electric toothbrushes, and other products, which were then supplied to specific buyers and resold at higher prices.

Authorities said the group operated as a well-organized network, systematically targeting high-value goods and distributing them through established channels.
