Quetta: A government vehicle belonging to the Makran Division Administration was reportedly abducted along with two staff members in Surab, prompting security forces to launch a search operation, sources said.
According to sources, the bulletproof official vehicle of the Commissioner Makran Division, bearing registration number MK-001, was traveling from Quetta to Turbat when it was intercepted by unidentified armed men.
Sources said the assailants stopped the vehicle in Surab and allegedly abducted the driver, identified as Fahad, and the commissioner’s gunman Zahoor. The attackers then drove the vehicle away along with the two staff members toward an unknown direction.
Following the incident, Security Forces of Pakistan initiated a search and recovery operation in the area to trace the abducted vehicle and the missing personnel.
Authorities have launched further investigation into the incident, while security agencies are working to locate the abducted employees and recover the government vehicle.
