The Balochistan Assembly will convene a new session on Friday after the Governor of Balochistan formally summoned the meeting under Article 109(a) of the Constitution of Pakistan.
According to an official notification issued in Quetta, the assembly session will be held on Friday, March 13, at 3:00 PM at the Assembly Secretariat.
The statement said that entry to the assembly premises will be strictly controlled through official entry cards during the session. The requirement applies to all individuals attending the meeting, including government officials, security personnel, and media representatives.
Authorities have also announced enhanced security measures for the session. As part of these arrangements, both government and private armed security guards will not be allowed to enter the Assembly Secretariat building.
Officials stated that the restrictions are intended to maintain security and ensure smooth proceedings of the provincial assembly session.
Further parliamentary business and agenda items for the session are expected to be shared separately by the assembly secretariat.
