On Monday chief minister Balochistan Mir Sarfaraz Bugti visited the homes of police officers, personnel and civilians who were martyred in recent terrorist attacks in the province.During his visits, the Chief Minister met the bereaved families, expressed heartfelt condolences and offered Fateha for the martyrs.
He held special meetings with the children of the martyred police officials, showing affection and assuring them that the Government of Balochistan stands firmly with them.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti stated that the provincial government would not leave the families of martyrs alone under any circumstances. He announced that under the prevailing policy, immediate financial assistance would be provided to the families of police martyrs along with two government jobs for each family.
According to the Chief Minister, one job will be provided in the police department, while the second will be offered in any other provincial department. He also directed the authorities to rename Saryab Police Station after Shaheed ASI Mahmood-ur-Rehman as a tribute to his bravery and sacrifice.
The Chief Minister further announced that the entire educational expenses of the children of martyrs will be borne by the provincial government. In addition, the families will be provided Rs 5.5 million for house construction,along with other necessary resources as per their requirements.“We, the government and the people of Balochistan, are indebted to the blood of our martyrs,” Mir Sarfraz Bugti said, adding that the families of martyrs and ghazis would never be abandoned.Condemning the acts of terrorism, the Chief Minister said that conspiracies to destabilize Balochistan at the behest of India will be foiled.
He reaffirmed the government’s resolve to eliminate terrorism and ensure lasting peace in the province.Giving an update on security matters, Mir Sarfraz Bugti said that significant progress has been made in the investigation of the terrorist incidents that occurred on January 31. He revealed that investigation teams are working 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to identify the culprits and bring them to justice.
The Chief Minister reiterated that the government would pursue terrorists relentlessly and ensure that those responsible for shedding innocent blood are punished according to law.
